Q: Light period and cramping

I need help please.
I have just gotten my period or i think i have ???? I have always had irregular cycles but they have never been this light !!!!!! The problem is im due to have repeat smear test as i had a problem with my last result. I have also got really bad cramps and a backache and sore boobs (which is normal). I have recently started sleeping with my new boyfriend and we have been using condoms and he assures me that we were completely safe am i just going mad or should i worry as i have to have the repeat smear ????????? Could i be pregnant ????? Please help ???

Of course if you have sex you can always get pregnant as no method of birth control is 100% safe. It is however very unlikely that you will get pregnant if you use condoms correctly. Only a pregnancy test can tell if you are pregnant.

before you go for your repeat smear take a pregnancy test. Inform your gyno of the result explain to them about your concerns.
