Menstruation Answer A5785

A female period can vary in both time length and blood quantity. It is not unusual for a period to be only several drops for a few days. This condition occurs due to hormonal variations which do not need treatment. However, if the same condition occurs during the next period, you might want to visit your gynecologist for a pelvic exam and hormone laboratory tests.
