Yesterday, I had light cramps but my period isn't due for 2 or 3 weeks! It was uncomfortable so I layed down. After the cramping went away, I felt pressure on my uterus! Which was very uncomfortable! Then about an hour later my uterus felt swollen Or Sore! I have never felt that feeling before! I have no clue what's going on but then this morning I was thinking what it could be and I had intercourse 10 days ago. Could this be implantation? Am I pregnant? Or if it is something else? Someone PLEASE let me know! Or have you experienced this before?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you had the symptoms after 7-10 days of intercourse, then these could be indicative of implantation. Visit your gynecologist for examination and blood HCG test (it can detect pregnancy accurately as early as 11 days post conception). Look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy.
Take care.

Thank you! This is VERY helpful. I do not have a gynecologist, I have no insurance, it will be very hard for me to see a doctor soon. I am trying though! I actually took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. Is there any chance this could be something else happening to me? Or is it just too early?

HoneyLuv, Unless your cycle is totally and utterly messed up, the only way you can be pregnant at this stage of your cycle is if you got pregnant during your previous cycle, about a month ago. At this stage you should be close to ovulation. Can it be ovulation cramps (Mittelschmerz)?

Best of luck!

Thank you for the information. I never feel ovulation cramps, but you are probably right. I did have intercourse the day after my period ended. By the way, this is my first time on a website like this! You guys are very helpful Smile

yw.

Your cycle starts the first day of menstruation (flow, not spotting) and ends the day before your next menstruation starts. The only way you can show pregnancy symptoms now is if you conceived about 14 days before this cycle started. In that vase what you experienced was not really your menstruation but some bleeding. It does not sound like that was the case.

In a typical cycle of 28 days, you will be fertile from about day 9 to day 18. The other days are infertile days where his sperm cannot fertilize your egg. Do not use this for birth control however if you can absolutely not afford to get pregnant.

Honeylove, Ovulation only takes about 15 minutes but can cause discomfort for a day ot two.

Do you think you are pregnant? If so. take an early detection pregnancy test.

Thanks again. I didn't know much about ovulation. I'm not really sure if I am, but there is a possibility. I will wait a while to take a test. It would be a beautiful thing though!

So Here is an update! I have been feeling pressure on my pelvic bone and it was sore. I also have this feeling in my uterus. Its like warm fluttering or warm shooting feelings. And today I feel horrible! I have headaches and like that tummy ache throwing up feeling but its not my tummy that is hurting. I have not taken another pregnancy test yet. I'm not sure if these symptoms are preganancy symptoms or other symptoms. Can anyone relate to this and tell me what's going on??

implantation or ovulation?
I have a 26 day cycle on average, though it ranges from 24 to 27 days. I had sex on day 9, and yesterday on day 15, I had light pink spotting and cramping. The spotting is gone, but the cramps persist. Is it too early for implantation? This spotting has never happened before.

Hi I'm Chelsea. I'm only 18 years old. I started my period June 6 and it ended on June 11. I have noticed that I started having cramps and my boobs started to feel bigger and sore when you touch them. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. I'm getting worried that I might be pregnant but I'm not for sure. Do you have any ideas on what this could be? If so can you please right back? Thanks.

I've been experiencing a lot of abdominal pains/cramps, its been happening almost everyday and im going into my second week of pains/cramps. The pains are usually in my lower abdominal area although sometimes its on the sides. It feels like the cramps I would get as if it were my period but sometimes they turn into pretty bad pain.My periods has been irregular. But even then, I've never had this much cramping or pain before starting my period. Are these signs of early pregnancy?
