okay my husband and I are very confused at this moment in time. I was due for my period on 12-28-11 and wound up having light brown mucousy discharge spotting that started on 12-29-11 and ended on 12-31-11. Then this afternoon I had very light cramping with bright red spotting that is only enough to stain my panty liner, I have sore breasts, nausea, hunger cravings, frequent urination, and I have a swollen abdomen, Plus certain foods make me feel nauseas. Could I be pregnant? Because my period never has acted this way before, if anyone out there has any advice for my husband and I we would greatly appreciate it.

Update: the red spotting has stopped and has yet to return. Has anyone ever had this happen to them and had a normal, healthy pregnancy?

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Your symptoms as light spotting, sore breasts, nausea, hunger cravings, frequent urination could be suggestive of pregnancy.During early pregnancy implantation bleeding occurs which is usual unless becomes heavy and prolonged.
If you are trying for a baby then that can be suspected.Get a Urine test done to rule out pregnancy and visit a Gynaecologist for pelvic examination.
Take care!
