Q: light bleeding at 5 1/2 weeks ?

Light bleeding at 5 1/2 weeks and doc says as long as I'm not bleeding heavy this is normal- Anyone???? I went for a checkup when it happened but without a sonogram again how does he know it's okay- HELP! I am freaking out!!!!! It took me years to conceive!!! Please help!

spotting could be a sign of the implantation into your uterus....you can also have cramping. as long as it doesnt get really heavy you should be fine

i had really bad cramps at 5 wks...they were so painful. i was really scared. but my son is now 3 months old and we had a very healthy pregnancy
