Please can someone help. I am 32 and have had acne since I was 12 years old. I was on the pill for few years to control it but decided to come off it as I wanted to sort the problem out without the pill. Since then I hve tried evert antibiotic and creams going. Nothing works at all. I recently went had a food intolerance test and was told to cut out dairy, chocolate, caffeine, sugar and alcohol. I have been doing this for 5 weeks now and have a much healthier diet consisting of lots more fruit and veg. I am also taking a number of natural pills. But there is still no difference. I am so depressed. I have had acne all of my teens and all of my adult life. I have never felt like socialising because i hate the thought of people having to look at my disgusting face. My school friends have gone on to get married and have kids but im still in exactly the same situation as i was 20 years ago. I hate my life so much. My doctors wont put me on roaccutane and im considering buying it from the Internet - i have no other option because i cannot carry on like this. I would apprciate it if anyone could offer any advice plase. x

my brother's skin cleared up by accutane, but it has a lot of side effects that you have to be careful.
i used a product called natures cure, it is a homepathic herbal treatment you can buy from drugstore.com and just type in natures cure acne medicine in the search engine.
i am 33 years old and i had the same problem as yours. the dermatologist gave me rentinA and it only dried my skin up so much i couldnt even open up my mouth.
i tried the natures cure acne medicine and my skin cleared up, it is really cheap and you can also find them at some walgreens, or cvs stores.
you can atlease check out the website and ready the reviews about it.
this stuff worked when nothing else wouldnt. it explains why you have acne even as an adult. try to find their website.

I have also had acne since I was 11/12. It has never completely gone, but it's pretty under control now. I was on everything you could be on, including accutane, which only helped about 60% (long-term) and was extremely expensive. I had a lot of bad side effects from it and had to take it every other day and my acne came back after 3 months, so don't use it unless you have to.

I don't have much advice for you. I suggest you try these if you haven't already:

-15 minutes of sun per day
-Vitamin A supplements (be careful if they are fat soluable)
-switch to a different pill/form of BC

Good luck!

Thank you for your posts. I seem to have found a cure, but I don't know if it is permanent. I found prebio 7 tablets work for me. I really don't know hy though. After the thousands of pounds spent on various treatments, these very cheap tablets work for me. I just don'yyt know if the acne will come back if i don't keep on taking these tablets. I would of course love tp find a permanent solution and not one that just delays the problem.
