my husband had blood work done and his white blood count is high. What is wrong with him

The Increased number of white blood cells (leucocytosis) could indicate the presence of an infection. It is also important how high the white blood count is.

For final diagnosis your husband needs additional tests like: clinical examination, sedimentation rate, CRP, etc.
