Q: Lesions and abnormal evoked potentials

For 2 years, I have been experiencing a number of symptoms. I have a lot of muscle weakness, dizziness, numbness in my hand and feet, loss of cordination, some memory loss, urinary retention(have to use a catheter to pee all of the time) some vision problems(especially with the left eye), some color blindess, and severe fatigue. I have seen several doctors. One told me that he thought I had MS but before I could get a diagnoses, I had to move. Since then, doctors have told me that it is all in my head. I have had several MRIs that show lessions, abnormal evoked potientals, a normal LP, and abnormal EEG. I am at my wits end. I really wish I could head in a direction for a diagnoses. I would appreciate anyone's help. Thanks in advance for your help, suggestions and advise.

Coming from a person who has MS...and what you describe....

Get another neurologist who specialiazes in MS....a good one.

I have several brain lesions (plaques), abnormal EEG, abnormal evoked potentials and two normal LP's... reading your post I thought for a moment I was reading about me.

You are your own best health care advocate...don't give up...you know your body better than anyone else.
