I had surgery for scoliosis 25 years ago. A couple of weeks after surgery my left leg swelled really bad and hurt so bad I could not walk on it. I went to several different doctors and they could not find a reason for the swelling or the pain. It got better over time but my leg would still swell some especially after walking alot or standing for a long period of time. Now my leg swells all the time. Every day soon as I get out of bed it starts swelling and I have some pain. It is getting to the point where I can't wear socks, shoes, or pants on that leg because it makes the swelling and pain worse. Nothing seems to help. What could be causing my problems with my leg?
