i am 16 weeks preg and only when i lay on either side my legs become very sore. Its keeping me awake at night and its frustrating me. Which ever side i lay on, that leg then becomes sore and eventually can become numb and that arm tingly.
Most times the only way to stop it is to lay elevated on my back but then i cant sleep.
Also i know u must not lay flat on your back now but is it ok to be elevated????

It sounds like your baby is sitting on a nerve, probably your sciatic nerve. That would cause the pain and numbness. I don't think there is anything wrong with elevation. I hope you feel better soon.
