Hi, for the past few months i have had a sore left tonsil & elongated uvuala. Also noticed there is a lot of excess "rough & bumpy muscle" tissue deep down on the soft palate holding in the tonsil. Also , there are some bumpy feelings along at the point where the back of the tongue attaches itself to the side of the throat.
I compared both right & left sides at this point & the right side is much smoother at the connection. The back left of the tongue is very very bumpy & white which to me looks like oral thrush. Does anyone have any ideas as to whether this could be oral thrush. It is not on the front of the tongue & it is very hard to see unless i push right down on the back of the tongue. Has the bumps spread themselves to the tissue holding in the left tonsil perhaps?
cheers

Also should mention i have swelling in the roof of the mouth coming from the same area & there looks to be a cyst in the muscle between upper & lower sections of teeth.
cheers
