My husband has pain in his back on the left side down by his kidney. He says it feels like a really bad cramp like he's been running or something.
Advil is not touching the pain and he has tried drinking lots of water. He doesn't have a history of kidney stones any idea what this could be?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Your husband needs some baseline work upto localise the cause of pain. Management will be directed accordingly.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
