Q: Left optic nerve injjured

Dear Doctor,
I am 30 year old. I met with an accident in August 2002 and my left optic nerve was injured and I lost my vision completely. I'm requesting you is there any way to recover the vision of my left eye, could you please let me know. Thanks in advance!!

Extremely eHealthy

Treatment with corticosteroids or surgery for optic canal decompression are successful in optic nerve recovery when used early after the injury, within hours or days of traumatic optic neuropathy diagnosis.
