A brief history of my condition. One day back in 2006 I woke up on a saturday with pain in the right side of my neck, right shoulder and right arm. I also had to drag my right leg in order to move and my right hand had minimal movement due to the pain. I went to the ER that saturday whereby they told me it was a pinched nerve. I went home but the pain on Saturday and Sunday was unbearable and I went to see my Doctor on Monday. I was admitted to the hospital and after seeing the neurology surgeon he said I need surgery immediately. I had surgery on Tuesday, and after that pain went away and it took a while for me to regain strength. The surgery was for disk hiernation on c3/4 with no known cause. I had been experiencing discomfort on my neck for roughly two months before the saturday it became extreme. I was back to regular work in about 6 month, but my LEFT leg has always been feeling numb and a burning sensation since the surgery. The numbness starts on the left side of my groin and goes all the way down my left leg. My right leg on the other hand feels normal, but is noticeably weaker than the left leg when I jog, kick etc. When I jog my right leg gets tired and I feel like I am dragging it. I have seen another neurologist and he did an mri on my neck and he said everything looks fine. I have just come from a bout of the kissing disease and I think I am noticing my limitations more especially when I started jogging to get back in shape. I am a 37 year old male.
