Q: left leg falls asleep
asked by: fallingapart on May 9th, 2008

Every time I lie down, or sit with my feet on a foot rest, or something similar, my left leg gets a tingling sensation, from about six inches above my knee, to my thigh. I can't really detect how wide it is, but it's really annoying! What is it?! It keeps me awake every night until I find a certain position, and then sometimes I can get to sleep.

It still continues. My lower back feels fine. This has been going on for about a year and a half, so if it had started because of anything, I wouldn't remember.
