Left eyelid problem

Hello

My left eye had an "uncomfortable" feel to it for years now I feel a little bid of pressure on my left eyelid as it can't open all the way. I've seen an optometrist about my eyes but never talked to her about this. But this is getting annoying so I decided to take a picture to see if I can see anything wrong. And in the picture I can see that the left eyelid can't open all the way. I've posted the image as well, can you give me an idea what this is and if there is anyway I can fix it?
