left eye blurred vision

Close both eyes and then open the other slowly, check to see if vision has returned..Could be a migraine or other problems..If vision is not cleared and you don't feel perfectly alright then go to the ER..If it tunrs out you feel ok and nothing more happens be sure to let your doctor know this happened..

That is what happened to me and I didn't have a good outcome.

My left eye suddenly blurred / double vision about a month ago. It is driving me crazy. I have been to my doctor who referred me to an opthamologist, but am seeing an optometrist in that office. They are running tests, have me on eye drops (prednisone), and it is not getting any better. I only wear glasses at night when driving, or for really long distances during the day, and before this started, they were "perfect" for both eyes. Now, the left lens is simply useless. They may send me to a retinal specialist, but they need to do something soon, this is affecting my life and ability to do many things...frustration on an exponential level.
