I am 26 and weight 225.
I have had constant upper left chest pain for 2 years. It also goes through to my back. The pain feels like it comes from the center of my body. It is a constant throab. Sometimes it turns into a burning feeling. It is the worst in the morning and wakes me up every couple days. If I sleep on my left side it hurts the worst, and only sleeping on my back gives me a chance. I feel like it gets better throughout the day. I usually take an aleeve or two to help the pain. I think it came from basketball or golf. I have been playing golf 3 or 4 times a week my whole life and play basketball twice a week. I have seen 5 doctors and one said costochondrisis, and I took a lot of motrin and aleeve for a few weeks but it did not help, one said acid reflux I took aciphex and it did not stop pain but I think I needed it anyway. I had a cortisone shot and it did nothing. I have had chest and neck x-rays which showed nothing. I had an EKG, nothing. I also had an MRI which was negative. My chiropractor think it is a rib out of place. I really do not know and it has been to much, any help?

According to your description and all those negative medical tests you can request gastroscopy to exclude some stomach disorder. You already have acid reflux so there is a possibility to have gastritis or even peptic ulcer that can cause those pains. If the pain does not origin from the stomach (gastroscopy is negative) pain could origin from the chest/upper abdomen muscles (myalgia), from the nerves (neuralgia) or can be due to anxiety.
