I know this will sound hokie, but you need to start doing yoga stretching daily and begin right away. More often than not, yoga stretching can assist with many problems from MS to pinched nerves to heart related problems and the list goes on and on from there. It may sound too simple to work, but it's not. Grab a yoga magazine and start stretching until you get the answers you need from the doctor. You WILL find that it helps as soon as the first week of practice. I had the same pain as you and it has helpped soooo much.

I had the same syntoms for 15 years, I have been suffer for all these years, I have seen so many doctors including neurologist,neurosurgeon.

They have done ct scans, mri scans, blood tests, Bone marrow tests, everything possible. Every test came back negative and they could find nothing wrong.

I would have a sharp shooting pain in my left leg and arm at the same time. the muscles in my hands and feet would also spasm up from the pain. I would have to click them to get them to ease up. My heart rate use to go through the roof when I had these "attack". I would sweet alot as well. As time went by the syntoms would change slightly but the shooting pains would remain. I would get unbalanced as well. I would also get hard pushing heavy feeling on my chest as well while i was have these "attacks" sharp shooting pains. Later I was having pains in my neck as well

I would be in pain every day of my life. I would have "attacks" which would come ago ago throughout the day. Eventually I was always in pain.

Pain killers didn't help no even in the slightest.

Everyone is quickly to think the worst arthrist,MS, pinched nerves,Parkensons,Acute epelepsie, mental problems and very scary thing that I didn't even know existed.

i suffer from the same symptoms as yourself with shooting pains in my left arm and leg and tingling and numbness,i get hot very hot feeling in my leg and can feel pain at the top of my hip, thse symptoms change and i find it very difficult explaining to doctors i have had all the same scans as yourself and they have all shown okay, yet these symptoms persist, i have trouble wrighting as my arm has a mind of its own and just shoots out of control and i struggle to hold the pen properly if you know anything that will help cure my symptoms or at least reduce the pain i would be very much obliged hoping to hear from you soon thanks ann

Hi. I have had pretty much the exact same symptoms as you. Everything, pain in left arm and leg and it seems like it comes from my hip. My doctor isn't sure what the cause is. They thought it could be my old slipped disc but specialist said there is no way it would cause arm pain/ weakness as well! I have been told everything from anxiety to muscle spasm but I just want to know so that I can alleviate some of the pain. I have been given countless painkillers but would love an answer not just tablets! I am going for another mri tomorrow and will defintaley post if it shows anything that may help!

It's really impressive how many replies you had. I have the very exact same symptoms as you describe and you really seem to have identified the disease, at least for what it causes. The pain in my case lasts since 2009. It also involves the left side of my neck and my left jaw. It has slightly changed through time but the pain is always there. It hits every night after 3-4 hours falling asleep. My left shoulder, neck and back click very loudly and this temporarily relieves the pain. I have been found with low vitamin D and since then I take supplements. I think this is due to sleep deprivation, since I wake up every night at 3 am and have troubles in falling back asleep.

I had chest surgery (left lung, pleurodesis) 20 years ago. I don't know if this can be of any help, but did any of you had any kind of surgery to the left side of your body in the past?

Another possible cause is your neck. Posture can harm you over long periods of time, especially if you are skinny and tall (I'm 6 feet, 150 lb). I'm 37, male. Could you please post your Body Mass Index so we can compare?

Hi, I am 29 and fighting with weird symptoms, 2 months ago i experienced panick attack.
next day i noticed that my left leg and arm feel bit weird, like weak, tingling or warm, its difficult to discribe, on and off and than I would get very achy muscles, like i did a work out for that one muscle and than chest pain fallowed. so next day i went to ER, thinking there is something with my heart or i have mini stroke. Doctor run quick ECG, checked my temperature and did a physical test on my arm and leg. he told me it was anxiety, nothing more. Since than I experienced chest pain(thinking heart problems), IBS (thinking is colon cancer), stomach palpitations (thinking is abdominal aortic aneurysm)
I had a 3 EKG since than, had complete blood work, a stress test(on treadmill). Everything come back good (apart from my vitamin d, its very low) I went to my doctor at least 4 times, I also went to ER twice in past two months. every doctor told me it is a panic attack or anxiety. I noticed that I freak out alot wiyh all the symtoms I had and I also worry alot. Now I got new one! my left side got bit worse last saturday, since than i feel weak and get dizzy spells for like 3 hours mid day every day. So I went to my doctor again and explained the whole thing and he is refering me for a TIA Assessment (mini stroke) I am so freaked out, I just want my life back,feel so miserable. Is there anyone with such symptoms?

Hello, I'm 32 and have the same symptoms as you. It started with chest pain a few months ago. I went to E.R. 2 times thinking I was having a heart attack. Had all the tests done and no heart trouble. I was getting really dizzy, and would jolt once in a while like I was going to have a seizure. I can't sleep at night because I'm afraid I won't wake up. The dr. told me it was anxiety. I did have a panic attack the week this happened, which never happened before; I'm usually really mellow. Now I just have chest pain most of the time, and the other day, my right leg and left arm started hurting. Have not been stressed out for about a month now though and it has not gone away. Web searching the symptoms,I found anemia and/or black mold sickness. These two have similar symptoms and are commonly undiagnosed. I started taking vitamins to build up red blood cells in case it's anemia, and brown algae for black mold sickness. I live in Oregon where it's ALWAYS raining, so mold loves this area. Hopefully it helps.

Same symptoms. Think it is stress. Have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Have had tremendous relief from a "cranial sacral" therapist. Medical doctors don't know about it or won't refer you because science can't prove it works. Believe me....it works! I tried everything- physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, supplements, medication. Cranial sacral therapy is definitely worth a try.

I have the same symptoms plus I suffer from scolosis, degenerative disks disorder, I always have pain on my right side, especially my face, arm, and leg, Sometimes I have pain in both legs.

Get tested for Lyme disease...I was in your same boat and then got treated for Lyme and went from being in a wheelchair most of the time to now hiking and full mobility.
