Extremely eHealthy
Apical residual fibrosis means scarring on the lung tissue in an attempt to repair itself.
It is apical because it is located at the top of the lung, and residual, since it is a leftover from a previous lung infection like pneumonia or tuberculosis (apical location of fibrosis is very suggestive for an old tuberculosis infection).
