Okay guys... im leaving Jarad...for real this time. He hasnt been out to see Rylan or called to talk to me in 5 days. What kind of dad is like that... I have a friend named Seth that I have been friends with and liked for two years now. He wants to be with me and I would love to be with him, but im affraid he dosnt relize that dating me is going to be ALOT diffrent from dating somone without a baby. He said he loves Rylan just as much as he loves me, and he always wants to hold and feed him. And every night I have to text Seth a picture of Rylan before we go to bed. So I know he likes him, im just a big scardy cat I guess. But the point to me writing this is one to get it out there because im worried about it, and two because I want to know what you all think... is this a bad idea, should I just make it work with Jarad?

I left my sons father because he was abusive, but he didnt know it. He wouldnt help with seth, never changed him, never fed him, soon as Seth started crying, his father would leave. He used to yell and threaten, and now certain words make Seth cry. I left for the sake of my son, and if it isnt working with Jarad, if he is treating you badly, if he is ignoring his paternal duties then you and your son are better without him. I dont think it is a bad idea to be with this other guy, but maybe just take it very slowly and introduce him to thejob of being your partner and support for your son over time.

Let him go meggie. If Jarad cares about your son and you and you decide to leave it might be a wakeup call to him. Rylan and you will be fine and if this new guy loves you than hes going to treat you guys right. Dont worry about Jarad, hell either come around as a father or he wont, but dont let the fact that hes your babys father interfere with providing yourself and your child with the great life you guys both deserve. Sometimes blood just isnt enough for guys. I suggest moving on and taking it slow with the new guy, it could be a better situation for you and your son.

Thanks guys. I havent been on for a while, but know im am dating Seth. And so far he is absolutly perfect. He even woke up with the baby the other night when I was sick. I deff. didnt ask him to he just did, I think im going to be okay and loved, and nolonger ignored. Thanks again!
