Make a plan
There are so many ways out there to eat healthy and for the most part you'll find that they will cost you less too. Search healthy meal ideas online and find a bunch of recipes that you think sound good. Find stuff that your family will like too but don't be afraid to make something that you want even if your family won't eat it (they can always eat left overs!) Then sit down and make yourself a weekly meal plan. You might want to do this every Saturday so you can go shopping on Sunday and start your weekly plan each Monday (or whatever weekly schedule works for you). Once you have a plan, stick to it! When you get hungry you'll have a healthy choice already laid out for you instead of looking through the fridge and settling on junk food. It's also important to remember that everyone's metabolism is different. Some people can stick to three meals a day while others (like myself) have to snack throughout the day or I start feeling light headed. If you find that your like this, keep some healthy snacks available for those inbetween meal time munchies. Raw vegies, cheese or a piece of fruit are ideal cause they take the edge off without adding a lot of calories. If you can't get your family to agree to your new lifestyle don't be afraid to do it for yourself. Hope this helps! Good luck!
