Please don't type all in caps. It is considered yelling.

No one anywhere can take your child away from you without cause. If you are 15, I suggest taking some parenting classes and getting all the emotional support you can get from your family because you are going to need it.

if that 13yr old father and 15 yr old mother in england could keep their baby after having social service people and police come and investigate the situation, i dont think you will have a problem keeping your child.

the child would only be taken away if there is neglect, abuse or i would think if you can not look after or afford to raise the child.
they cant just take the child away from you with no reason.

if your parents dont have a problem with you two dating i dont think he would get in trouble for having a child with you now either, do your parents know that you are pregnant? if they dont you need to tell them now and talk to them about your concern too.

pixy, they cant take your baby because of that, but like proudmommy said, you have to tell your parents that you are pregnant. They might be upset but if they see he is willing to stick with you and the baby then they might not want to do anything to him.

thats good to know pixy, and like kyrafaith said its good to know hes one of the good guys and stuck around.
and because your parents know about this and probably are being a good support team for you and the father, it makes it so much less likely that they will not take your baby away.

In an earlier post you asked if your boyfriend could get into trouble. In most states, he could be jailed for statutory rape or child molestation because he is legally an adult and you were under the age of sixteen at the time of conception. But that is no longer the case in Indiana according to this news story I located:
The defense can be asserted if the person accused of having sexual contact with a 14- or 15-year-old is under 21, is no more than four years older than the alleged victim and was involved in a dating relationship with the victim at the time.

Sex with a person under 14 is still considered child molesting, regardless of the age of the perpetrator. But the new law could protect an 18-year-old from adult felony charges if he has sex with a 15-year-old girlfriend, for instance.

well considering her parents know and condoned them dating and know that she is pregnant with her boyfriend, and are accepting with it, i doubt they would charge him now..

The state charges him, not the parents. If it is illegal, it doesn't matter who condones it.

Pixie, since you obviously have internet access, why couldn't you look this up yourself?

if shes 15 and hes 18 its within the limitations of the law i believe i think its a 3 year or 4 year difference ... and aochriss did you ever think maybe shes having trouble finding it or something? the girls asking for help, why does that always burn you up so much????

I'm not aochris, but I think it 'burns her up so much' because if the OP has internet access and knows enough to ask the question, she knows enough to search for it herself. But it seems to me she didn't want to, she wanted to be handed the information and have the laws of her state interpreted for her.

To the OP, I have an idea, go ask your parents what their feelings are about your pregnancy and what they feel the risk of the state taking your child away from you is. Your mom will know more about your personal situation than anyone here would.
