I'm completely ignorant to things, and i know i shouldn't be. But, it has been 10 days since i should have had my period. My boyfriend and i have not had sex nor are we planning to anytime soon. I don't think i'm pregnant, i just am worried that my period is so late because it has never been late before. We have had oral sex and have done handjobs and fingering. I'm getting ready to go to college and it is just the start of summer. So i'm not sure if my period is later simply do to stress about going away or because of changes in my schedule because it is summer. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated so i can calm down over this. Thank you so much!

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Delayed periods can be due to hormonal imbalance caused by underlying disorders as Ovarian cysts,thyroid issue,stress etc.Since it has been ten days consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation to rule out any abnormality and prescription medications for starting the periods.
