Hi i really hope someone can help me, I am aware that the symptoms I am about to give can have multiple meanings, but I am really hoping someone has lived something similar to this and can give me an explanation.

This month has been a very stressful month for me, and last week, I realized i was late in my period, it was no drama, since i knew i had been very stressed this month. I ended up being late for 5 days, but the 2 last days of my late period i ended up having a bit of spotting, then boom yesterday bleeding big time. So at the beginning i taught i might have been pregnant, now Im not so sure since my period manifested themselves, and no i did not take a pregnancy test, i was going to, but i started my period so.

Here is the confusing part. Last night i went to bed pretty late. I ate a toast and a cup of yogurt before going to bed. Everything was fine. I was having a dream, i was dreaming i was in a car and i was very dizzy and someone in my dream told me they thought i was going to be sick. That did it, I woke up straight in my bed realizing i really was dizzy. And i went to the bathroom and started to analyze how i felt.

I realized, i felt kind of nauseous but it was not coming like it should from stomach pains if it would have been a virus, it felt more like my throat was tight and everything seemed to be slightly moving around me, so that sorta made me feel sick to. So i finally took some gravol because i just could not take it anymore, i needed to sleep, and i felt too sick to sleep yet i had not been sick. So i feal asleep. It worked.

But today, I feel very weak and off balance and i really cant eat very much. Did anyone ever experience something of the sort? Could all this be related or do you guys think it is probably 2 different things, the late period and the dizziness? If so, what happened, and what was it? i thank you very much. *~Christina~*

MY EXPERIENCE, HOPE IT HELPS!
Okay well my experience was something like yours.
I had a late period, and that can be caused by stress, but also dizzyness and feeling weak can also be many unhealthy reasons. drink vitamins for now, because that always helps you anytime.
last july i had a late menstrual period and like yourself didnt think of pregnancy, but i happen to take a pregnancy test day before my period, and i was pregnant! i did feel sick but did not get severely nausea's.
so you can have your period and be pregnant.
sometimes it can be a healthy pregnancy or sometimes it can not.
mine unfortunately was not a healthy one and i couldn't keep it, i had an ectopic pregnancy. where the egg stays in the fallopian tubes.
so take a pregnancy test as soon as possible, if you have had sexual intercourse in the past month or so.. you could be pregnant.
hope this helps...
just go to the doctors to examine yourself for health reasons for yourself in case you are not pregnant.

Hello
Hi i thank you very much for your reply, i knew you could be pregnant even if u had your period, i guess i simply refused to think if might be so, since the last 2 times it could have been the case, it was a false alarm. I guess my next step will be to take a preg test. Although, i have went through my period normally witch was a surprise to me after a wired beginning like that, and also the fact that i have not been dizzy again after. But I had not thought about an Ectopic pregnancy... So i will have that preg test as soon as possible and i thank you for your reply!

After 3 tests they all said negative. Started my period two weeks late. It was brown the first day and light! Still extremly dizzy!

I've had consistent periods and haven't had sex between my last period and right now. Now I'm three weeks late and haven't been feeling myself. I've been dizzy and get lightheaded/faint very easily~especially when I stand up. I took a pregnancy test and resulted negative. I'm really not quite sure what to do. Is it normal to feel so weak and dizzy when menstrual cycles are spontaneously late?
