Q: late period and valtrex

I took valtrex to treat a cold sore on the night I was supposed to get my period and still have not got it and its been almost a week. Could this cause my period to be late? i was supposed to get it wednesday and on sunday i had some discoulered brown ish discharge, only a bit, and i remember a couple weeks ago i would get cramps when urinating. I went off the pill a couple months ago but was getting regular periods since then, until now. My stomach also sometimes will hurt during sex. Is this all associated with the same problem?
