I was late for my monthly period by 2 weeks, the following three days later, I started to have spotting. But the spotting turned to almost nothing, but I still wear a pad, because only when I wipe is there blood, that is not falling in the pad. Tonight when I wiped, did a stretchy long piece of skin come from my vagina. It was a orange/red color, with a blood clot on the end. Can anyone help me understand what this is?? And why I have not bled like I'm suppose too? My boobs are sore, but only when I remove my bar, or after waking up in the morning, I do feel bloat, and very sleeping. But I do not have morning sickness. Can anyone give me some answers and ideas as to what is or what I should do?

Thanks.. nurse

take a pregnancy test to se if your pregnant or not, or go to the doctors for a blood test to determine whether or not your pregnant.
you should do this soon, and the result should be accurate, you are 14 days and a little longer late. and a blood test will be 100% positive if you are or not.

thanks.
I did just that, was actually in the hospital all day! I'm not pregnant but I was, 2 weeks, they called it "abandoned abortion" Where I just stopped laboring. Apparently this happens a lot to younger women. But thank you for the advice.

sometimes the fetus will abort itself if there is something going wrong or if its not getting enough of something.
most doctors would say it was for the best.
