I\'m about 13 days late and my tubes have been tied since 2007. i have been having cramping like if i\'m going to start my period but nothing. my lower back has been hurting like crazy and I have been so sensitive for everything I\'m moody and tired. Could I be pregnant?

Well, even though chances of pregnancy are less with tubes tied, tubal ligation failure can occur. Take a blood pregnancy test for confirmation. If this is negative then other causes of delayed or missed periods will have to be looked at such as stress whether emotional or physical, hypothyroidism, polycystic disease of the ovary, pituitary tumors secreting prolactin, anemia and poor diet, hormonal imbalance, unexplained or sudden weight gain or weight loss.

Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist once. Hope this helps. Take care!
