Last night girlfriend and I had sex. Should I take Plan B?

Last night my girlfriend and I had sex. She is on birth control and we make sure she takes her pills on time everday, except for once or twice in the past week where she's missed it by like 15 minutes to an hour. She just started her second pack a few days ago. Also I'm not sure this matters, but she skips the placebo pills because apparently you can. Anyways, last night we had sex without any secondary protection method, just the pill, and she wanted me to come inside of her and so I did. Soon there after I began to freak myself out, thinking about that being a very very bad idea. Now we're both pretty scared of the consequences...

We would like to know if taking Plan B would be a good idea, or if we shouldn't worry about it.

What should we do?

Nothing. The pill protects her from pregnancy. Plan B is not a good idea unless she totally skipped pills in the last 7 days. Taking it continuously is fine, as is taking it an hour late.

It is however still the best to use condoms as well. Condoms protects you both from infections. Even if you were both virgins and STD free, bacterial infections and yeast is still an issue. With every man she allows inside without a condom, her risk for bacterial infection increase.

Take care!
