Q: Lashing out & emotional control

Recently I've realized that I have an odd pattern of behaviour. Whenever something happens in my life that is beyond my control, I tend to lash out at others or make inappropriate relationship decisions regarding the people closest to me in my life, as a means to regain some feeling of control in my life again. A big example that I can give you is that when I have faced bullying at work or unjustified terminations of jobs, I have then in turn made horrible choices in my other more personal relationships, that have often times resulted in terribly torn and unfixable situations. I am realizing that I do these things as a way of trying to regaining some control again in my life. Does anyone else here do this? And can any of you give me any suggestions about what I can do to stop doing this. I wasn't even aware that I do this until very recently, but when I look back on other situations in my life, I can see that this is a terrible pattern I've had for years. How can I stop this? Please help me.

Sounds a bit like Bipolar to me. Take to your doctor and tell you symtoms to get on the right medication. Bipolar disorder can ruin you life if you let it. Not taking into consideration the bad relationships that go along with it. These are all common of a Bipolar in my opinion.

its scary place to b
it seems that ms carrie could b right it does suond that way and as she says go see ur doc for sure anziety is a scary thing and takes control of ur life in so many ways it makes u think things most people wouldnt even consider and it does make u angry and lash out at others for some reason u get so scared and the only way to make urself feel even just a little better is by makin people u love hurt its a very strange way of liveing but ur in constant fear of something goin to happen and u feel that there is always something wrong with u u fear the worse all the time and the feeling makes u sweat makes ur heart pound and u sometimes get to the stage u feel ur goin to die but our minds are amazing things we need to make ourseves moe aware of what is goin on and i suggest next time u get this anger come over u try to focuss on somethng such as ur hands or a mark on the wall and breath sounds stupid but works just promise me u will try when u get that feelin focuss on nothimg else dont yell dont get uptight just focuss on what ever it is u choose to foccus on u will b amazed at how well i t works well best of luck and ey let me know how u go cheers xxxxxx
