I had a red spot on my arm which looked like a red freckle. It popped and now looks like a large red pimple on my arm. It is raised from my skin now also. It breaks open often, mostly after a hot shower. When this happens I place a bandage over it and once the bleeding has stopped it just appears the same as before. Any ideas on what this could be?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on what you describe without examining you. You should consider getting it examined by your doctor/healthcare provider to confirm the exact cause. Get started on treatment as indicated by examination and test results. Keep the lesion clean and dry.
Take care.
