A couple of months ago I noticed this large red bump on the side of the knuckle on the thumb of my right hand. Its sore and not sure what it is. I was told that it could be degenerative arthritis but I dont have any arthritis in my hands. I have no stiffness or any other bumps or swelling in any of my fingers or hands. Occasionally I get ganglion cysts in my wrist areas. Is it possible thats what it is? If anyone knows or has similar symptons, please let me know.
