my mother had breast lumps but they were all smaller than a quarter. me and my sister both have very large breast lumps. they get as big as base balls or softballs. they hurt very very bad, sometimes so bad that we cannot get out of bed. we have had surgery to remove them, but when we remove one we get 2 more with in 3 months after surgery. right now i have 6 lumps 3 in each 2 are large 4 are medium size. my sister is much worse than i am, she hardly has any breast tissue left, she has countless amounts of lumps all different sizes i know at least 2 are the size of or bigger than a softball. all the doctors we have seen just want to do surgery to keep removing them, or just completely get rid of our breast to see if that stops them. but i am 22 my sister is 24 we do not want to loose our breast on a maybe. if anyone has some information or advice for my sister and i please let me know.

Does your doctor tell you what the lumps are? Are they cysts, Fibroadenomas, cysts, or what? There should be an explanation as to why they keep recurring. Are you on birth control pills? For fibrocystic changes, birth control pills are often helpful. Other women are helped by:

Avoiding caffeine and chocolate
Limiting fat and increasing fiber in the diet
Taking vitamin E, vitamin B complex, or evening primrose oil supplements

they have never told me what they are... I have been researching and the only breast disease that sounds lie the one I have is giant fibroandenoma... Here Miami I have not found a doctor that cares... The only thing thats important to them is money... They just tell me things to shut me up and get me out of the office.. I've been trying to find a specialist for me and my sister because there are days that the pain is so bad that I can't get out of bed and no pain relievers help...

I would suggest you find a hospital that offers a breast care center. Here in Georgia, at least in my town we have 2 wonderful hospitals with both having a private section for Breast Health Care., the Breast Care Facility I go has won numerous awards for outstanding performances. THey care about women, and breast care is all they focus on. From Mammograms, sonograms, cystic breast, to a number of other non cancerous and (in my case) cancerous. There has to be one in Miami, or at least near there. You are too young to have to go through what you and your sister are going through. There really are wonderful doctors and surgeons out there who can and will help you. I just hope and pray you find one soon. Hugs!

Hi
Columbus, Georgia (Muscogee County) has a wonderful breast health care facility. There should be several around South Florida, not sure where you are located, but I do know in Miami and Palm Beach areas, most larger hospitals have a breast care facility. Good luck in where ever you go, I wish you nothing but the best for you, your sister, Mother and family!
