Hi, My Dad is 58 and has just been diagnosed with a large Hepatoma, inside his liver, measures roughly 13.5m x 12.5cm x 8cm. It was noticed on his CT scan that there are some dead cells inside the tumor..what does this mean? Also the specilist told us they probably can't operate due to the size, and chemo wont work..so what are they saying, is there any other options?

He can consider trans-arterial chemoembolization (TACE) to try and shrink this tumor and slow its growth.
