Hi everyone.
I'm going in for a laparoscopy tomorrow...(Honestly, Im scared to death becaues I just freak out over knowing Im gonna be cut open) and I really want to know the experiences of other people to maybe know what to expect. I have heard from doctors and stuff I should be fine in a day or two and wont need very much help. Others say that I will need someone to be with me afterwards for a few days to help me and stuff. So I was just wondering what other peoples experiences were with their laparoscopy?
How long did it take to recover (or at least be able to do stuff on your own without much pain)?
It would be really good to know any information from people who are heavily affected by medicine (like they put you to sleep really easily and keep you like that or really groggy for a while).
Did you have a hard time eating? Did you have someone help you?
Any tips for when I go get mine?

Sorry if Im nosey..
Im just really curious...
Maybe just to help me calm my nerves a bit
Everyone says that I dont need to worry but I have issues with that...
Im scared of surgeries...anything that requires needles and being cut open..

Thanks to anyone who replies to this. I really appreciate any tips/information!
