I am 3 days post op laparoscopic incisional hernia repair with proceed mesh. I have bloating and ongoing pain in the right lower abdomen where there are 2 small incisions. The hernia was in the left lower abdomen. I am worried about bowel damage or other complications of the lap surgery. No fever, only pain.

I had the same surgery 4 weeks ago...felt the same thing as you. My hernia is right in middle, but I have more pain on the left side. That is where the mesh was pushed thru, so my surgeon told me it will hurt the most...that is probably what you are feeling. Ice will help too. Hope that helps.
