So Friday morning I had the surgery. Laminecktomy disectomy( however you spell it) on my L5S1. I was hospitalized until Monday afternoon because of severe pain..however, even with the post surgery pain I have, I am walking up straight. I cannot even remember the last time I stood up straight. I am walking! The pain in the leg is dramatically less intense. It is so amazing. I am SO HAPPY I decided to have the surgery and my doctor by FAR IS THE MOST AMAZING SPINE doctor. I have heard nothing but success stories from him, and now I see why! Dr Castellvi in Tampa Florida! stretch

WONDERFUL!!!!
Hello Somethingserious,

FANTASTIC news that your surgery was a success and that you can, even with your post surgery pain, celebrate that you can now walk up straight. That the pain in your leg is so much less. You are most fortunate to have had a very skilled back surgeon.

I hope and pray that your recovery is successful and enables you to ENJOY LIFE once again.

Thanks so very much for sharing.
