Q: Lamictal side effect ?

Hum...I've got to say, I'm a little worried.

Meds have been going great, emotionally things are nice and stable.

But...

Looking in the mirror I've spotted something that looks like a purple blotch (rash?) on my back.

Why is that important? I take Lamictal. I sure hope this isn't a sign of SJS or TEN. covermouth

Wish me luck. Hopefully it's nothing. Going to go see a doc on monday if it doesn't go away or if it grows.

Extremely eHealthy

Absolutely go see your doc about this. Most rashes amount to nothing but you may be allergic to the medication. If this rash should spread you need to contact your doctor immediately. It is recommended that you discontinue use of the medication if you develop a rash. Hope all goes well. It is great that you have found the right meds to help you. Let us know how it goes with the rash.

Just a quick update....

I'm still alive and well.

The rash has not spread so we're quite positive it's nothing major.

Let your doctor know about the rash anyway, just as a precautionary measure. I am glad to hear it didn't worsen.
