i have been diganosed with bipolar i am 59 and have been put on disability by my pdoc but i need to work on stopping the spending episodes will lamictal help.

I am hopeing to be on the short term disability for a year the pdoc said right now 3 to 6 months disability (short term) would I be able to stretch this to one year then apply for social security disability then after that i would be 62 and could collect my social security. I do not see myself ever going back to the place that I worked before going out on 2/14/08 on the family leave first now on disability as of 3/28/08 what are my options?

The lamictal should help with that, yes. Once you find a medication that works well for you, the spending should get better as well.
