i am tring to highlight my hair and I
bought a blonde but I just wanna make it
lighter not blonde my mom doese it all the
time with her I wold ask her to help me
but she lives 20 + hours form tx....
so my question is
what is the best way to highlite my hair
????

I highlight my hair all the time. I have
brown hair and I highlight my hair in a
way that I get everything from blonde
highlights to light brown ones. First
off, I don't do the cap thing. I just
brush out my hair and take a comb and comb
the mixture through my hair. Secondly,
do whatever part of your hair (say like
around your face) that you want to be the
lightest first since that will be where
the mixture sits the longest. If you
don't want your hair to get super blonde
you can wet your finger and wipe off a
little of the mixture and look at the hair
underneath and see what color it is.
That way you can better gauge when it is
time to rinse it off. Good luck!
