Q: lactating after hysterectomy

i was lactating slightly on and off for 1 year before I had a histerectomy 7 weeks ago (due to very heavy periods)....the problem is im lactating very very badly since my operation and my headaches are so bad they are affecting my vision.....is this due to the op i had done of could it be something else Question

I did not think you produced milk until you were pregnant? How is it possible for you to be producing milk and not be pregnant? Someone enlighten me! As for the headaches, i TOTALLY relate to these, they are migraines.....I'd suggst you find a good neurologist, make an appointment and let them help you! I finally did and it makes all the difference in the world...to live pain free.........most days!
