Q: Lacrimal plugs and seeing spots

I had a perment tear duct plug inserted in my left eye about 2 weeks ago. i am still using my eye drops like i was told too but now i am starting to see spots out of my eye. My glasses are clean what could it be?> could i be going blin faster then the 3-5 years that my doctor told me?

Lacrimal plugs are inserted in the lacrimal ducts to keep the tears from draining too fast. The quantity of tears may affect only the sclera.
Seeing spots might be caused by cataract or retinal damage. Cataract is less probable in your case because of the age. You might want to visit an ophthalmologist to check for any retinal damage.
