Q: Lack of sex drive after treatment

I have to say that a few years ago it was discovered that I had pre cancerous cells growing, and was treated for it. I was terrified, I had very little support throughout the entire ordeal.

However, now I have no sex drive, it's gone. I'm not sure if the treatment caused it. Maybe the Dr. damaged whatever nerves are there.

I can't even watch an "X" rated flick and have it do anything for me. So my husband and I don't have sex anymore.

Think there's any way to fix this?

I assume this is related in any way.
This can result from many physical and psychological causes.
Sex drive is usually, affected by many things, but, very often the hormones in BCPs can be a factor in decreased sex drive.

What kind of contraceptive you take?
Do you suffer from certain metabolic or hormonal disease?
Do you take some meds on regular basis?

I don't use contraceptives, we don't do anything, haven't in about 5 months.

I may have a thyroid condition that I still need to have checked out, but this started shortly after I was treated for this problem.
