Labyrintitis, depression, and anxiety Posted: 04-25-08 06:00am
Should I be using the stugeron tablets
everyday, or only when I feel its
necessary?
Since its nearly 8 weeks, when the virus
should have gone by how/when can I expect
it to go?
What mediaction can I have with lilttle.no
side affects to calm me and ensure NO
motion sickness when I go on plane for
13hr + 8 hr flights to get home?
I am due to see ENT Specialist next tues
but not sure what to ask him to ensure I
get the best out of the appointment... I
just want this to go away I would rather
not be here than continue feeling this
way; I feel so low please help me? I dont
know what to do with myself anymore...

Inflammation of the inner ear
(labyrintitis) can cause motion sickness,
dizziness, vomiting etc. These symptoms
can worsen your emotional life but,
basically, they can’t cause depression
and anxiety. Your depression and anxiety
are probably present from earlier times.
Labyrintitis with its symptoms can only
make you more anxious and more depressed.
You can take Stugeron (cinnarizine) three
times per day (3x25mg) for avoiding or
calming the symptoms of labyrintitis.
Depression and anxiety can be treated with
other medications (antidepressants and
anxiolitic drugs).
