I am 34 and 4 days, but at 33 weeks i went into labor and the doctors stopped my labor with magnesium sulfate. well i went to the doctor on Tues. 13th. and she said i was dilated to 3cm. well on Mon. 12th i lost partial of my mucous plug and for the past 3 or 4 days i have been having pain between my legs (i dont want to sound gross but bare with me) that feels like a tampon put in wrong and very bad middle and lower back pain. My doctor also did that test to see if there was any chance for me to go back into labor in the next two weeks and it came back positive. I was wondering what I should do? I have had contractions at night that hurt bad but they dont stay regular and they always seem to fade away. The baby is very active, but today she hasn't moved hardly any. I know she has dropped because my belly is not nearly as high as it was. Can anyone help me?

I have never had a baby...so I cannot be to sure.

But I have learned that in real labor the contractions do not go away. In real labor the contractions continue to get closer together and longer. I have been reading in "The Bradley Way" and it states that once the contractions are 3-4 mins apart and last 60-90 secs then you need to get to the hospital. I have also read the dilation and losing of the muscus plug could happen weeks before you actually deliver. Until your contraction get really close and really long the baby isnt coming.

How are you feeling now? Did you call your doctor?
