Q: Lab results related to UTIs and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

i had a period of SLE around 13 years ago.after that i was leading a healthy life.Now i had UTI few days ago and i had to undergo several test.During that period i got positive ANA,negative DNA and normal CRP test.what it indicates?i want a quick reply please.I will be thankful to you.

Once a certain type of antibody is formed in the body, it is present for the rest of your life. So, a positive ANA result is expected in your case.


Usually, a normal CRP indicates that there is no strong inflammation present in your body that might damage the tissue. The results are related to the previous history of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and they might be unrelated to the urinary tract infection.
