I have been doing a bit of research on krill oil and have decided to make the switch from my fish oil tablets. Of course these tablets are really expensive so I am trying to find the best deal online.
My problem here is my partner...he really can not swallow large capsules. Fish oil capsules are generally pretty large, but I thought Krill oil were supposed to be smaller. However they all seem to be different sizes and types of pills.
It's pretty important for my partner to be able to take them as he is very fair skinned and we live in a very hot climate so it would give him a bit more uv protection. I just don't want to spend all this money on supplements and he can't swallow them!
If they are solid capsules my partner can crunch them up into smaller pieces and swallow them, or smaller soft gel capsules would also be good, but I haven't been able to find this information anywhere online. Any advice or recommendations anyone has here would be appreciated?
I just started taking Krill Oil pills from Core Health Products. They are a quite small gel capsule called "Core EFA's (Essential Fatty Acids). This is the first time I have ever taken any type of pill like that but I have heard others say that their fish oil supplement makes them burp or taste fish. These have never done that! I do not know if that is expensive or not but I know that this a high quality, honest company and I take other products from them that have been extremely beneficial so I feel these are worth the money.
OOPS! I didn't realize that I couldn't put links to sites on here. Core Health Products is the one that makes and sells the Core EFAs. They cost 35 for a bottle of 60 capsules and the suggested dose is 2 a day.
