Knots & headaches!!

I am 26 years old and for about the past 4 months I have been having major headaches. They are constant from the time I wake up until I go to bed and then wake up with them again. Last month I noticed a pea sized knot on the back of my neck on the left side right at the base of my skull and last week I noticed another one a little further down, maybe 3/4" next to my spine. My family has a history of cancer and tumors...my mother passed away May of 06 with 2 cancers and 5 tumors. I do not know what to do and am scared to go to the hospital and I have no family doctor or insurance. Any suggestions??
