She has a knot on 1 side of neck, sometimes uncomfortable to lay down. She has ran a fever now of 102.6-103. for 8 days. Had sneezing now a deep croupy cough, swelling of feet and ankles and hands. Has a rash mostly on the legs, but all over, even on face (cant see it on the face as well as the legs and buttock). Went to hospital for test today, please help me understand what could be going on.

This person (child?) has a severe infection, which is probably viral in nature. She should be seen by a physician without delay.
