Hello and welcome to eHealth Forum!

A knot in the lower abdomen and upper leg that can be felt but not seen can be a neurofibroma (localized harmless swelling in a nerve), a lipoma (localized collection of fat), or a swollen lymph node.

It is difficult to comment without examining the lump. Though these are harmless but since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult her doctor once. Hope this helps. Take care!
